In 2002, Management Consulting Services commissioned the development of a manual, prepared by Laura Perille and Tom Mendelsohn, to support organizations in hiring consultants. At the time of the production of this manual, Diane Gordon was MCS’ Executive Director. MCS is no longer in existence. The manual is offered as a public service, with the permission of the authors and MCS’s former Executive Director, as it would otherwise no longer be readily available.
